photo Saw Ladytron and The Faint last night at Granada in Dallas.  Ladytron put on a good show with great lighting and effects but due to technically difficulties could not finish there set,  the real show stealers were The Faint.  I saw them about 3 or 4 years ago in FortWorth TX at Ridglea and I must say this go around they definitely outperformed themselves.  It was 1 big dance party.  Loved it!

Ólafur Arnalds

Ólafu ArnaldsMosfellsbær, Iceland “Breaking classical music out of the tweed jacket and loafers and putting it into a t-shirt and trainers…”

At only 21 years of age, Ólafur Arnalds is Iceland’s latest export. Having already sold out The Barbican Hall in London, toured major European festivals and having opened for Sigur Rós on their most recent European tour, the future seems bright for this young, extraordinary talent.
I have listened to Ólafur Arnalds - 3055 at least 6 or 7 times,  definitely can be compared to Sigur Ros (see-ur rose).  A must listen!

This was the concert last night, of course the video doesn’t do the audio justice, but they are well worth a listen.
